Your home in Jávea, left in good hands

A thousand kilometres away, and you still know how things are at home

Between the Montgó and the sea, many homes stand empty for much of the year. It's hot in summer, and in autumn the rain can fall heavily in a short time. Water, damp, heat, power and movement: these are the things that go wrong when nobody's around for months. HappyHomes measures them in your home and warns you before it becomes damage. You see everything on your phone, wherever you are.

Your home. Our care. Your peace of mind.

Enjoy life without worry, wherever you are.

What goes wrong when nobody's there

    On the Costa, it's rarely a break-in

The greatest damage comes from things that happen slowly while the house is shut up. Four situations we see regularly.

A leak that runs on for weeks

A hose clamp on the boiler or a pipe under the floor fails in January. Nobody hears it. By March the floor has swollen and the kitchen is ruined.

Water detection by the boiler, washing machine and under the sink sends an alert within a minute.

Damp and mould after a closed-up winter

Humidity stays high near the coast for months on end. A closed house without ventilation leads to mould on mattresses, cupboards and walls.

Climate sensors in each room warn you as soon as the humidity stays above your limit for too long.

A power cut while you're away

A residual current device trips. The pool pump stops, the cooling fails and the water turns green. You only find out when you arrive.

We see that the power is off and call or email your local manager.

Movement in the house when it should be empty

A door or window opens while you have the home set to empty. No cameras indoors, but the peace of mind of knowing.

Door, window and movement sensors only alert when the home is set to empty.

    The solution

      Measuring

The sensors measure water, humidity, temperature, smoke and doors and windows, day and night.

    4. 4

      Alerting

If something's off, you get an alert straight away: what it is, in which room and when. From the app, you can call your installer or manager directly.

No cameras indoors and no contract with a monitoring centre needed.

    Still deciding

Not bought yet? Here's what to look out for

At a viewing you see the sun and the view. The things that cost money later are hidden. A few questions you can already ask.

    Where does the water run?

Ask where the boiler, the stopcock and the washing machine connection are, and how old the pipework is.

How dry does it stay in winter?

Ask about ventilation, damp patches in bedrooms and whether the house is shut up in winter.

Who checks in while you're away?

Ask who holds the key, how quickly someone can get there and what that costs.

Eleven short questions about climate, vacancy and help on site. You get advice straight away.

    Local climate

What we pay attention to in Jávea

    Autumn rain

A gota fría brings a lot of water all at once. A water sensor tells you straight away about a leaking roof or a blocked drain.

    Heat in a closed-up house

Behind closed shutters, the temperature climbs high in August. You see it for each room.

    Limescale in the water

Hard water puts a strain on the boiler and pipework. A sensor by the boiler warns you of any leak.

    Even when you're not there

Here's how we arrange it remotely

    1. 1An inventory by phone or video call: together we choose the rooms that matter most.
    2. 2Installation during your stay, by us during our month on the Costa Blanca or by a local partner.
    3. 3After that, you see everything in the app, from the Netherlands or wherever you are.

What would you like to monitor?

You decide who gets an alert. You yourself, a neighbour, your cleaner, gardener or local manager. Everyone only sees what they need.
